Support Luz's Recovery Journey
My wife and our family have suffered a great deal, we were in the hospital for almost a week.
My wife, Luz recently had a stroke which was brought on by a congenital heart defect called ASD. They discovered a half inch hole in her heart that was a ticking time bomb, it should have been discovered at birth. She had to have Cardiac catheterization to close the hole.
Surgery went well and she is on the road to recovery.
The future is uncertain at the moment, but she is strong and hopeful we will get past this.
The stress of mounting medical costs, seeing specialists, Physical therapy and Therapy for the trauma is overwhelming.
Luz is a stay home Mom; I’ve been out of work and will most likely be giving her home care for the foreseeable future. I am also taking care of our 8-year-old son.
Anything will help. A few small donations can be huge for us. We would like the best care to get her back to normal.
We appreciate any consideration.
Thank you,
